Defender Fankaty Dabo will be leaving Chelsea and joining Coventry City when his contract expires this summer.
The 23-year-old, who has been at the club since Under-12 level, was most recently on loan at Sparta Rotterdam having previously spent time at Vitesse and Swindon and has represented England at Under-20 level.In our Academy, Dabo was an FA Youth Cup winner and a Under-21 league champion and at Coventry he will be reunited with one of his former Chelsea coaches Adi Viveash, who is assistant to the Sky Blues’ manager Mark Robins. Coventry are in League One.We thank Fankaty for his service as a Chelsea player and wish him well at his new club.
