Nike and Chelsea Football Club today unveil a new away kit for the 2019/20 season...
The clean, stylish design is inspired by the Mod culture which thrived in 1960s London, in particular on the King’s Road, a short walk from Stamford Bridge.
The new kit features a crisp white polo shirt complete with a button-down collar. This is trimmed with red and blue stripes and is fastened in the centre by two buttons, each inscribed with the phrase: ‘The Pride of London’.
The sleeves are also trimmed with red and blue, while the head-to-toe look is completed by white shorts and Chelsea blue socks, which feature a white, red, white stripe midway up the calf
Meanwhile, inside the top, there’s another celebration of the Blues’ place at the heart of the capital in the shape of a ‘Pride of London’ graphic.
The new Chelsea away kit will be worn for the first time when we face Kawasaki Frontale in Japan this Friday, and is available in-store at Stamford Bridge and online now.
