The 18-year old striker joined Chelsea in the summer of 2017 after signing from Ajax in his native Netherlands. After starting the season with our Under-18s, he quickly stepped up to the older age groups and led the line for our development squad in the senior Checkatrade Trophy while still only 16, before finishing with two goals in the FA Youth Cup final as our youngsters lifted the trophy for the fifth year in a row.The following season, the teenager featured regularly at the older age groups, including throughout our run to the UEFA Youth League final, scoring our only goal in a 3-1 defeat to Porto. While at the club, Redan also won the Under-17 European Championship with Netherlands in the summer of 2018.We thank Daishawn for his service to Chelsea and wish him well for the rest of his career.
