Injury update

N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Reece James picked up knocks during the international break while Chiristian Pulisic was ill, and Lampard is likely to be asked about their severity. He could also provide the latest on Toni Rudiger and Emerson, who were both unavailable when we were last in action.

Bulgaria racism

The racism suffered by England players in Bulgaria on Monday night was a major talking point over the international break and Lampard might be asked to give his opinion on the matter and what steps must be taken to eradicate it.

Midfielders' showings

Mason Mount made his first England start in Czech Republic and Ross Barkley replaced him for the victory against Bulgaria, scoring twice, and the subject of our midfielders' form could be raised by the journalists present.

Newcastle's visit

It hasn't always been easy for Newcastle so far this season, but they did beat Manchester United 1-0 in their last game before the international break and their danger could be assessed by Lampard.

Latest Chelsea team news

Lampard had pencilled in a return to action for Emerson after the October international break, while Toni Rudiger hasn't featured since the win at Wolves in September. Ruben Loftus-Cheek remains a long-term casualty, and there has not yet been an update on Kante, Kovacic and James who were injured on international duty.

Latest Newcastle team news

Isaac Hayden is suspended. Matt Ritchie remains out injured but Florian Lejeune could be available for the first time since suffering a serious knee injury in April.
