First: What was the first football kit you ever wore?I think it was maybe my dad’s jersey from Barcelona from when I was a kid. I still have it around at home, it is framed now and I think that has to be it. Maybe not the first I wore but the first I really remember.Last: When was the last time you wore a football shirt of a team you weren’t playing for?I used to have a lot jerseys from the teams my dad was coaching. I used to go to see the games, I used to be a big fan of these teams and I used to try to get as many jerseys as I could and I have a big collection at home.Always: What is the best old football shirt you have kept?I have to say two. Maradona jersey from Barcelona and Maradona jersey from Napoli. They came via my dad and those are the two golden jerseys of my collection.

First: What was the first thing you eat or drunk this morningI had toast with coffee.

Last: What is the last thing you normally consume before bed?I try to drink a lot of water and I always take a bottle of water to my room when I go to sleep. It is important to drink a lot of water these days and night time is a long period when your muscles are going to need water to recover with so many games you play and the competition being so physical.Always: What do you reckon you eat most during the week?Pasta! From my time in Italy I really got into pasta. It is also very important for training and for the body so it has to be pasta.

First: What was the first movie you really liked growing up?The Rocky movies, the ones about the boxer, they were nice ones.Last: What was the last film or TV programme you watched?The Joker, a very good movie. I went to see it at the cinema.Always: What have you watched most often in your life?Probably football games but also series like Peaky Blinders, Prison Break, these are among the best TV shows I have seen.

First: Where did you go on your holidays when a child?I used to go to a place near Marbella with my family. It is called Sotogrande.Last: What it the most recent place you have visited for a break?Sotogrande!Always: Where do you go to most often?Maybe Madrid because my family and my girlfriend live there, so it has to be there.

First: Can you remember the first phone you owned?For sure it was a Nokia, like a 3210 or something like that. It was a small one that only made calls and did texts but I miss these old days! I had it for a long time. It was indestructible.Last: What was the last app you installed on your current device?Champions League fantasy app, because I have a league with my friends and my girlfriend and her sister has joined. I am in the top three at the moment but a friend of mine is leading.Always: What do you spend most time on your phone doing?On FaceTime for sure, with my family and my girlfriend.

First: When was the first time you learned English?At about 12. At school when I was a kid. In Spain everyone learns English as the main language after Spanish, and at school I used to try to learn but when I came to England it wasn’t easy, it was difficult with the different accents in Bolton and Sunderland.Last: What was the last new English word or phrase you learned?You cannot say ‘over’ when you are playing, they just say ‘Jack’s’ instead. I think it is something from the Chelsea Academy. Eddie [Newton] told me the other day so instead of saying ‘over’ when there is a ball and you want to say ‘over’ for someone to leave it to you, the referee can give a free-kick for that so you can say ‘Jack’s’ instead.Always: What part of English can you never get the hang of?Probably lots! It is not easy to speak perfectly if you don’t do lessons and you have lots of bad habits when talking to other people who are not English as well. But I like to do accents though. Accents like Ross Barkley’s from Liverpool. I like to understand different accents and try to copy.
