Marcos Alonso and Reece James failed to recover from injuries that kept them out of the last game in time to be considered today, and Christian Pulisic felt a hamstring training after the Southampton game and is left out as a precaution. Olivier Giroud is also injured.
For Arsenal, Calum Chambers is back in their defence after suspension to play alongside former Blue David Luiz. Matteo Guendouzi comes in for Granit Xhaka.
