Further to the recent outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) and following Government advice, the Chelsea Foundation has decided to limit activity in the coming weeks.
Large-scale events will be postponed with immediate effect, while the bulk of our education programmes and work with seniors will move to an online platform as we seek to continue support for those in need.We will monitor Government guidelines with regards to schools but where possible this activity will continue, while additional support for schools in need of assistance will be available in the coming weeks. This decision has been made as a precautionary measure based on advice received and to bring us in line with the recommendations put forward by the Government this week. Please note this difficult decision is not due to any known exposure at a Chelsea Foundation session, and while we recognise the importance of our work in the community, the safety and wellbeing of all of our participants and staff has to remain our utmost priority.Where possible, participants and partners will be contacted by one of our team, who will also strive to check in regularly with them during the period of suspension and provide whatever support that we are able to.Any participants/parents who have paid for a course or coaching session which has not started will be entitled to a refund or credit. All courses which are being postponed will be re-activated from the point of postponement at a later date.Foundation staff along with our health and wellbeing team will also be working on an action plan to support those in need during the coming months. For further information please contact [email protected] you for your understanding and co-operation at this time.
