In our look at the latest Chelsea-related news stories from the media, transfer speculation heats up over a couple of players who have been reportedly linked with summer moves to Stamford Bridge while a Blues goalkeeper could be heading to the Championship on loan next season.

Chelsea reportedly lead race for Reguilon
According to Spanish media outlet AS, Chelsea are leading Arsenal in the race to sign Spanish full-back Sergio Reguilon because the Blues have qualified for next season’s Champions League.
While Reguilon has impressed on loan at Sevilla this season, he appears to be surplus to requirements at his parent club, Real Madrid.
‘The 23-year-old left back has no place in the plans of Zinedine Zidane, who will continue to place his trust in veteran Marcelo and last season’s €48 million signing from Lyon, Ferland Mendy on the defensive left flank,’ states the report.
‘Sevilla, who have been delighted with his performances (he has so far played 36 games, starting 33, and provided three goals and four assists), and coach Julen Lopetegui want him to stay on. But Los Nervionenses face stiff competition from England.
‘Madrid are looking to fill the coffers due to the coronavirus crisis and will demand around €25 million for Reguilon, a figure that will complicate the situation for the Sevillan outfit.
‘The Premier League looks the most likely destination for the talented young full back, with Chelsea and Arsenal as the main candidates.
‘Chelsea, of course, would have the advantage as Reguilon's priority is to play in the Champions League. So, if he leaves a club like Sevilla and a city like Seville, the appeal of Champions League football at Stamford Bridge will be a major draw.’
Rice raises speculation after meeting Chelsea legends
Speculation concerning a possible return to Chelsea for Declan Rice is growing after he was photographed with Blues legends Didier Drogba and John Terry while on holiday, TalkSport reports.
Rice was with Chelsea midfielder and close friend Mason Mount in Greece when the England pair met Drogba and snapped their photos with the former Ivory Coast striker.
The West Ham player then visited Terry at his holiday home in Portugal with the legendary Blues captain sharing a photo of them on Instagram.
Alongside the image, Terry wrote: ‘What a centre-back partnership this would have been @Declan Rice. I’m playing LCB though!
‘Good catch up mate. Unbelievable player who will continue to get better and better.’
Terry’s post has received over 175,000 likes with some users saluting ‘agent Terry’ and urging him to convince the 21-year-old to go back to Chelsea.
Rice was released by our Academy at the age of 14 before he established himself at West Ham.
Baxter wanted by Championship sides
Goalkeeper Nathan Baxter looks set to continue his development in the Championship next season with Derby County and Birmingham City expressing interest in taking him on loan, the Evening Standard reports.
Baxter played alongside Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori in our FA Youth Cup winning side in 2016 and while he remains a Chelsea player, the development of the 21-year-old over the past four years has taken a different path from his former Academy team-mates.
He previously had loan spells at National League sides Woking and Solihull Moors before spending a season with League Two strugglers Yeovil Town in 2018/19.
He was with Scottish Premiership side Ross County last season but his promising season was cut short by a shoulder injury in February.
According to the report, Birmingham and Derby have expressed their interest in signing the young goalkeeper on loan from the Blues along with League One club Sunderland.
