Our development squad have been back in training since the turn of the month and made a step up in their preparations for the new season with a comfortable win over Charlton's under-23 side following a couple of in-house games over the last two weeks.

Saturday's opening goal was courtesy of a fine Thierno Ballo strike before George Nunn added a second after half-time.

The young Blues will begin our season on the road, week commencing 7 September as our EFL Trophy group was confirmed last week. Further details on the competition’s fixtures will follow in due course.
