The Chelsea Goal of the Month vote for September is now open and you can cast your vote in the poll below, with six options available from our men's, women's and Academy teams.

Option 1: Reece James v Brighton (a)

Reece opened his Premier League account in some style, thrashing in a 25-yard strike to restore our lead on the South Coast in our opening game of the season. The boy has a knack of extravagant goals - who can forget that equaliser against Ajax last season!?

Option 2: Pernille Harder v Bristol City (h)

Not long after signing as a Chelsea player, the Danish forward scored her first goal in our big WSL win over Bristol City at Kingsmeadow, finishing off a flowing team move with an outrageous back-heel flick.

Option 3: Harvey Vale v West Ham (h)

The 17-year-old has trained regularly with Frank Lampard's senior side over the pre-season period and even featured in our friendly at Brighton but it was back with the youth team that he netted this stunning strike against the Hammers, a rising left-footed effort that flew into the top corner.

Option 4: Mason Mount v West Brom (a)

Another Chelsea Academy graduate, this time performing on the Premier League stage, Mount's swerving strike started our comeback at the Hawthorns as he made it 3-1 early in the second half. It was then the midfielder's parried shot that Tammy Abraham prodded in for the late leveller.

Option 5: Callum Hudson-Odoi v West Brom (a)

The teenager's introduction at half-time was perhaps the catalyst for our comeback in the Midlands and this well-worked goal, our second of the evening and Callum's first since January, was probably the pick of the bunch. The England winger's link-up with Kai Havertz was crisp and the finish was perfectly placed beyond the goalkeeper's dive.

Option 6: Timo Werner v Tottenham (a)

Off the mark in his fourth game as a Blue, if Werner continues this habit of finding the back of the net against Spurs, he will quickly win the hearts of Chelsea supporters. His first goal as our number 11 was a sweet strike from 18 yards that whistled past Hugo Lloris before the Frenchman could move.

Two of this month's goalscoring nominees - James and Hudson-Odoi - have been included in the latest England Under-21 squad for qualifiers against Andorra and Turkey. Marc Guehi, currently on loan in the Championship with Swansea City, has also been named by manager Aidy Boothroyd.

At the younger age groups, there are maiden call-ups to the Under-20s for Henry Lawrence and Tino Livramento, and to the Under-19s for Dynel Simeu, Levi Colwill and Lewis Bate.
