There have been some changes to Chelsea development squad fixtures across the months of October and November, as well as a new addition to our Academy goalkeeping ranks.
The first confirmed change is for our Premier League 2 home fixture against Leicester City, originally scheduled for Saturday 31 October. This game has now been moved a day forward to Friday 30 October, with kick-off at Kingsmeadow at 7pm.
The following month, our trip to Manchester City has been moved a day backwards from its original date of Saturday 21 November. The City Academy clash will now take place on Sunday 22 November with a 1pm kick-off time. These fixtures remain behind closed doors due to the current restrictions.

Meanwhile, Chelsea Football Club can confirm the signing of young goalkeeper Sami Tlemcani from Paris FC. The 16-year-old arrives at the Academy after two years with the French Ligue 2 side and will join Ed Brand’s Under-18s as part of his scholarship deal, which is subject to international clearance.
In other news, Jake Askew and James Clark have departed. Askew spent a decade in our Academy after signing as an Under-9 and leaves to join Wealdstone, while Clark joined from local club Leatherhead three years ago. We thank both players for their contribution and wish them well in their future careers.
