Kurt Zouma has been added to the France squad by Didier Deschamps.
Zouma will join up with Les Bleus at Clairefontaine today, Deschamps confirmed in his post-match press conference after France's 7-1 thrashing of Ukraine last night. He replaces fellow defender Dayot Upamecano, who went off at half-time feeling ill, in the squad.
Zouma has five France caps to his name, having made his debut in March 2015. His most recent was in June of last year, a 4-0 victory away to Andorra in which he scored. He was an unused substitute for the remainder of France's games in 2019, with this his first selection since international football resumed following the coronavirus pandemic.
He links up with his international colleagues on the back of an emphatic friendly victory in which Olivier Giroud scored twice on his 100th appearance for his country. That brace took him clear as France's second top scorer of all time with 42 goals.
France have Nations League fixtures at home to Portugal on Sunday and then away to Croatia on Wednesday.
