Stuck for what to watch this Sunday while there’s no Chelsea game to keep you occupied? Then why not take some tips from Timo Werner!

The German international has provided three great recommendations for bingeworthy boxsets for you to get stuck into below…

Money Heist

‘This is a great series, I really enjoyed it!’

Our German striker’s first recommendation is a popular choice amongst the squad. With millions of Euros and their lives on the line, nine robbers attempt to pull off the greatest heist of all time. Or second greatest, if you count the Barcelona game at the Bridge in 2009.

Set in Spain but dubbed in English, this crime drama is the second most popular foreign-language series on Netflix, and you’ve got three seasons to get stuck into.

Suits

‘I watched this a while back and even now I still think it’s a really good series that I could watch all over again.’

If Suits is good enough for Timo, then it’s good enough for us!

College dropout Mike lands a top job at a major law firm company, after impressing big lawyer Harvey Specter with his razor-sharp mind, despite having no legal credentials. The show focuses on Harvey and Mike closing cases, while maintaining Mike's secret, in the ever-evolving world of legal affairs as well as living the high life in New York City.

Selling Sunset

‘I watched this with my girlfriend and it was fascinating to see the houses they sell,’ explained Timo.

‘The first season was all about the houses and less about the girls and the drama, but the second season flipped and it was less about the houses and a lot more about the drama! But it is still a good watch and I’d recommend it.’

There you have it from the man himself! Timo explains what real estate show Selling Sunset is all about, as the reality show centres around the Oppenheim Group, who sell luxury houses around Hollywood and Beverly Hills. It’s full of big houses, lots of flash cars and, of course, plenty of drama thrown in too!
