A squad of 21 Chelsea Women players have arrived in Budapest ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Wolfsburg.

Erin Cuthbert and Sophie Ingle both missed our round of 16 second leg against Atletico Madrid, through injury and suspension respectively, but the Blues midfielders are among those who have travelled for tomorrow’s clash, while Bethany England and Maren Mjelde are not available for selection due to injury.

The travelling squad touched down around 3pm local time before heading to the Szusza Ferenc Stadium for our final training session ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with German opponents Wolfsburg.

Due to Government restrictions on travellers entering the UK due to the Covid-19 pandemic, both legs of our quarter-final will be staged in the Hungarian capital, with tomorrow’s game at 4pm UK time (5pm CET).
