The final will take place at the Gamla Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg tomorrow (Sunday), with a kick-off time of 8pm UK (9pm CET).

For all territories where it will not be shown live by a broadcaster, the game will be streamed live on this website and the 5th Stand app.

Fresh from securing back-to-back Barclays FA Women’s Super League titles on Sunday, the Blues will be hoping for more silverware when we face Barcelona in the Women’s Champion’s League final.Our last Champions League encounter came against Bayern Munich and although we didn’t clinch the win in the first leg in Germany, the Blues managed to pull off a phenomenal comeback with a 4-1 victory in the second leg (5-3 on aggregate).

Barcelona were recently crowned champions of Spain’s Primera Division, the top professional league in Spain for women’s teams with an impressive 26 wins out of 26 games played. Their last Champions League encounter was against Paris Saint-German where they finished the match 2-1 (3-2 agg), following two goals from Lieke Martens which sent them through to the final.

Chelsea v Barcelona head-to-head record

For the past five years, Lyon have reigned supreme in this competition. However, with them defeated by Paris Saint-German, this year there will be a new team crowned the Champions of Europe, with neither team having won the Champions League before.

This is the Blues' first time in the tournament’s final with the club making history as the first to have both our men and women’s teams reach the final. Barcelona have been as far as the final once before, losing 4-1 to Lyon in Budapest two years ago. This will be the first final without either a German or French team since 2007.

Chelsea have only encountered Barcelona once, in a pre-season friendly before the 2018/19 season which ended 1-1. This will be the first time both teams have faced each other competitively.

The FA Cup fifth round against Everton will be the last match of the season and will take place on Thursday 20 May at Kingsmeadow. The game will kick-off at 8pm UK.
