Zecira Musovic is the latest to take part in our question-and-answer feature with Chelsea Women players and the Swedish international gives us an insight into her life off the pitch…
Among her answers, the Blues goalkeeper tells us what she likes to do in her spare time, how she started playing football and explains her favourite thing about England.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
'In my spare time I like to spend time with friends and family, to be out in the nature, try new restaurants and just relax from all stress that can be created in our daily lives.'
What is your favourite thing about England?
'I arrived in England one day before the full lockdown in London (very lucky) so I have not really go the opportunity to explore the country and specifically London as well.
'But something I find fascinating in England is when meeting people you get a “hello, how are you?” and thereafter your answer is totally ignored haha. So that is one of the things I have struggled with, “I’m good thank you, how are you?” in a record time.
'I have big expectations on London and I look forward to exploring it all, Maybe in the autumn I will have a good answer on what is my favourite thing other than Chelsea FC and football, which I really enjoy and love.'
Do you like any traditional English food?
'Hmm, a tricky one. I love to try new food cultures and the English one is not an exception. I do not have a specific dish, but something I do not enjoy would be a baked potato with beans a lots of melted cheese. Something we would never have in Sweden!'
How did you become a goalkeeper?
'I first played as an outfield player until I was maybe 12. Our goalkeeper got ill and I went in goal. I played a decent game and did some cool saves, which made me really appreciate and enjoy the position so I stayed there.'
Do you have any hobbies?
'I am a sports freak, I love every sport and being active in my spare time. I also enjoy trying new things, so me sitting in front of the TV doesn’t happen very often.'
If you were a superhero, what power would you have?
'I would love to have the power of being able to help people, maybe to heal them from any illness in their life.'
What is your go-to karaoke song?
'I love music and to sing, mostly when I am alone and nobody’s listening haha. But one song I like is called “My Number One by Helena Paparizou" and I sang this in front of the team for my initiation.'
Did you go to university?
'Yes I have a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics. I have also completed a couple of courses in Psychology and Leadership. I enjoy learning new things.'
Who inspired you growing up?
'My brother inspired me when I grew up. I wanted to do everything like him. He played football, so I started to play football. He studied economics and I chose the same thing, he’s a role model for sure.'
Who is your best friend in the team?
'I would say that in this team everyone is amazing in their own way. But of course my Swedish girls Jonna [Andersson] and Magda [Eriksson] are two really good friends of mine which I am thankful for having them in my team. Niamh [Charles] is a really good friend of mine. Rumour has it that she’s 3.12% Swedish, but that is something I will let her explain!'
If you could go anywhere on holiday, where would you go?
'I would go to Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia, I have not been there for a while. I just love the city, the mix between historic and modern buildings. Cevapcici is amazing traditional Balkan food and the culture there is nice, people are so welcoming and warm-hearted.'
What do you miss the most about Sweden?
'I miss spending time with my family every day in Sweden. That is the worst part of being a footballer abroad and something I have to sacrifice to live my dream at Chelsea.'

'I don’t have a specific one but every movie where is romance and cute love stories to follow, I enjoy. I am a cheesy person when it comes to movies!'
