The programme for our first Premier League game of 2021/22 will be available to buy at Stamford Bridge tomorrow as we prepare to face Crystal Palace in the season opener.

We’re kicking off the campaign with an exclusive interview with Thomas Tuchel, who gives us an insight into how he’s approaching his first full season as Chelsea boss and his decision to tell the players to put the Champions League success behind them and focus on the challenges ahead.

'Playing such a big final, delivering under pressure and doing it all the way through that half-season in the Champions League, and then winning such a big trophy at the end of it… I think that’s a big, big shared experience that we will have for the rest of our time together,' he says. 'But it’s still necessary to set new targets and to achieve them with new energy and new hunger.”

Tuchel also opens up about his childhood in Germany, his journey into coaching when injury called time on his playing career, and reveals the secrets behind his methodology in an eight-page interview you can only read in the programme.

On top of that, each issue of the 84-page publication includes a column from the manager and our captain, Cesar Azpilicueta, as well as an in-depth match preview by former Blues icon Pat Nevin.

You can keep up to date with our Academy and Women’s sides, as the managers of those teams have a column in each programme, plus we’ll be putting players from these squads under the spotlight to bring you closer to every corner of the club.

This season there’s plenty of historical content to feed your nostalgic side. We’ve introduced a new feature, Tell Us About Chelsea, in which former Blues take us behind the scenes at the club during their time here, starting with Paul Canoville in Saturday’s edition. Meanwhile, club historian Rick Glanvill will profile the greatest Chelsea youth products of all time in his new Rising Sons series.

As the 2021/22 season marks the 10th anniversary of our first Champions League triumph, we celebrate that historic campaign in the competition with a season-long feature, bringing you behind-the-scenes access and unheard stories from an unforgettable year.

Full-season subscriptions are available now, for those of you who prefer to have your programme posted directly to your door. To subscribe for the 2021/22 campaign click here, or you can order Saturday’s programme individually here.
