Chelsea FC Women full-back Jorja Fox will spend the spend the rest of the 2021/22 season on loan at FA Women’s Championship side Charlton Athletic.
The 18-year old signed her first professional contract on her birthday at the start of the season, one of a trio of young Academy players to sign this past summer. Fox will now head across London to gain valuable experience at Charlton Athletic.
A product of the Chelsea Academy, the No.29 made her senior debut for the Blues in a 4-0 away victory against Aston Villa last season and was handed her first senior start in a 5-0 victory over London City Lionesses in the fourth round of the Women’s FA Cup in April.
General manager Paul Green said: ‘Jorja is a great young talent that will benefit from gaining valuable playing time within a competitive environment in the Championship.
‘We wish Jorja all the best for the remainder of the season at Charlton Athletic and look forward to watching her progress in the coming months.’
