The Chelsea squad were back at Cobham continuing to get ready for Thursday evening's away trip to face Norwich City in the Premier League, while Ben Chilwell was out on the pitch for the first time since his knee injury.
Spaniards Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta continued their returns to acton, with Alonso having been absent with Covid since the Carabao Cup final and in line to make his 200th Chelsea appearance in his next match, while our skipper hasn't featured since picking up an injury in that same game at Wembley.
Hakim Ziyech and Andreas Christensen were also training with the rest of the squad, after both were ruled out after the Champions League tie against Lille, but were fit enough to be named as unused substitutes for Saturday's 4-0 win at Burnley.
There was further good news on the injury front, as Chilwell continued his recovery from the knee surgery he needed to undergo in November by getting out on the pitch for some work with the ball for the first time since suffering that serious injury, although it is still too soon for him to be involved in team training.
