Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi were among those back in training at Cobham today, as those players not on international duty returned to work ahead the weekend visit of Brentford.
James returned to the Chelsea side at Burnley almost a month ago but has not featured again since, with Thomas Tuchel at the time revealing he suffered a muscular injury in our 4-0 victory at Turf Moor.
Hudson-Odoi has not played since the win at Luton Town on 2 March due to an achilles injury, though he was back in full training this morning.
The Blues face seven games in the month of April with action in the Premier League, starting this Saturday at home to Brentford, the Champions League and also the FA Cup.
Romelu Lukaku, Hakim Ziyech, Malang Sarr and Ruben Loftus-Cheek were also involved. Jorginho, who was involved in Italy’s World Cup qualifier defeat to North Macedonia last Thursday, also reported for training at our Surrey training complex.
