Chelsea have failed to win any of our past four finals at the national stadium – against Liverpool in the 2022 League Cup, Leicester City in the 2021 FA Cup, Arsenal in the 2020 FA Cup and Manchester City in the 2019 League Cup. We last won a trophy there in the 2018 FA Cup final against Manchester United, when Eden Hazard scored the only goal from the penalty spot in the first half.

Our 11-10 penalty shoot-out defeat to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final was our first this season, having won the first three against Villarreal in the Super Cup and Aston Villa and Southampton in the Carabao Cup.
