Thomas Tuchel has made one change to his team for today’s FA Cup final against Liverpool at Wembley Stadium, coming in the defence.

The front three of Mason Mount, Romelu Lukaku and Christian Pulisic continue after all finding the back of the net at Elland Road in midweek. It is a third consecutive start for Lukaku, the Belgian having scored three goals in his previous two matches.

In midfield, Mateo Kovacic has recovered from the injury he suffered at Leeds sufficiently to be included in the starting line-up, alongside Jorginho, who captains the side. N’Golo Kante is only ready for a place on the bench, but wing-backs Marcos Alonso and Reece James retain their places.

Edouard Mendy starts between the posts once again, but Tuchel has made a change to the defence in front of him. The experienced Thiago Silva returns to the side, replacing Andreas Christensen in the back three with Trevoh Chalobah and Antonio Rudiger.

Liverpool have made five changes to the side which won 2-1 at Aston Villa in the Premier League on Tuesday. Ibrahima Konate comes in alongside Virgil van Dijk at the centre of their defence and Andrew Robertson returns at full-back. Captain Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara are both added by Jurgen Klopp in midfield, while Mohamed Salah gets the nod in attack.
