As Chelsea Under-21s aim to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League 2 when we host Manchester United at Kingsmeadow on Friday evening, we take a look behind the scenes at Cobham to see how they have been preparing in training this week.
The Blues moved up to fifth in the Premier League 2 table with a 3-0 victory away at Liverpool in our last match, making it four games unbeaten across all competitions.
The win was secured with a dominant second-half display, as Kiano Dyer opened the scoring with a stunning strike into the top corner. That was followed by Shumaira Mheuka's powerful header from Dyer's perfectly floated cross, before Donnell McNeilly rounded off an impressive performance from the penalty spot after Ato Ampah was brought down in the box.
We return to Kingsmeadow for a home match next, looking for our ninth league win of the season, knowing another victory would move us above our opponents Manchester United into fourth place in the table, although the Red Devils have a game in hand.
Tickets are still available for that match, which kicks off at 7pm on Friday. All Chelsea Members or supporters with a men's or women's season ticket, as well as anyone under the age of 20, can claim one free ticket through their online account until midday on Thursday 20 February. All other tickets can be purchased for £4 each here, or at the Kingsmeadow ticket office from two hours before kick-off.
As an added bonus, attending this match automatically enters you into a prize draw for a chance to win two tickets to the men's Premier League fixture against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in May, or take home a signed Chelsea Under-21s shirt!
