We conclude our look at Chelsea's 120-year history through the camera lens, with more European glory, the completion of our trophy collection, and the start of a new era at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea’s 12th decade started in difficult circumstances, as our 10th-place finish in 2015/16 represented our lowest position for 20 years, although there was the consolation of denying London rivals Tottenham Hotspur the Premier League title.

We were back to our old selves the following season, though. Head coach Antonio Conte’s switch to a back three, after a tricky opening which culminated in a 3-0 loss to Arsenal, ultimately paved the way for a dominant league campaign. When substitute Michy Batshuayi came on to score the late winner at West Bromwich Albion, it made us champions with two games to spare, standing seven points clear at the top by the end.

There were some painful cup final defeats at Wembley in the years which followed, but also plenty more to celebrate, despite the emergence of Covid and the resulting restrictions meaning we would do so without supporters in the stadiums for a period.

Eden Hazard’s brilliance had given us victories in the FA Cup and Europa League, and supporters were back in time for us to be crowned European champions for the second time, as we defeated Manchester City in an all-English Champions League final in Porto.

We would add the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup in 2021/22, at the time completing Chelsea’s clean sweep of honours, before the pursuit of the final piece in our collection resumed under new ownership, with the UEFA Conference League and revamped Club World Cup up for grabs this season.
