Chelsea defender Alejandra Bernabe will spend the remainder of the 2024/25 season at Liverpool after joining the club on loan.
The 23-year-old Spanish international joined the Blues in the summer of 2023 from Atletico Madrid before spending last season on loan at Real Sociedad, where she made 31 appearances and scored once.
She returned to the Blues this summer and made her Chelsea debut from the substitutes bench in a Women’s Super League draw with Leicester City in December, playing the final 15 minutes.
A second appearance arrived following the winter break, again from the bench, as she played just under half an hour in our Subway Women’s League Cup quarter-final win over Durham.
Bernabe will now spend the rest of the season on loan with Liverpool, who currently sit seventh in the league table.
Everyone at Chelsea would like to wish Alejandra well and we look forward to watching her development over the next few months.
