Andrey Santos has been named in Brazil's 23-man squad for the first time in his career, at just 18 years old.

The Selecao play Morocco in an international friendly on 25 March.

The midfielder went back on loan to his previous side Vasco de Gama earlier this week, to play in his native Brazil. The loan runs until 30 June 2023.

Since joining Chelsea, Santos has starred in a triumph on the international stage. Brazil won the South American Under-20 Championship and he scored in the final against Uruguay. Santos was the tournament’s joint top scorer with six goals as captain of the side.

Those performances have since aided him to a senior call-up. Andrey will potentially play for his native Brazil at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in May and June before reporting back to Chelsea in July.

There is no Thiago Silva in the squad due to his knee injury.
