Bashir, a graduate from our Academy having joined in 2017, has played twice for our senior team, making his Blues debut in an FA Cup third round tie away to Manchester City in January 2023.

He has also represented England up to the Under-21 age group and was part of the squad that won the Under-19 Euros title in 2022.

Bashir spent most of last season on loan at Swansea City and now returns to the Championship to join Scott Parker’s Clarets, who sit top of the table having won their first two league fixtures.
