Chelsea’s final training session before our Champions League fixture against AC Milan took place at a sunny Cobham on Monday morning, with Wesley Fofana, N’Golo Kante and Hakim Ziyech the Blues players missing from the session.
Fofana is a longer-term absentee having got injured in the reverse fixture last week, while Kante’s return to fitness is being carefully managed after the hamstring problem he suffered in August.
In total there were 23 players out on the grass, with the goalkeepers working separately to begin with, and the outfielders put through their paces in front of those media present.
The squad travel to Milan this afternoon. On arrival, Graham Potter and one player will speak to the media from the San Siro at around 6.30pm UK time.
Another victory against the Serie A champions will go a long way to securing our berth in the knockout stages of the Champions League, while a draw would keep us above Milan on head-to-head.
Kick-off at the San Siro on Tuesday is 8pm UK time, and you can follow all the action in our Match Centre, with the Matchday Live team on air before, during and after.
