The London Football Awards nominations have been announced with Kepa Arrizabalaga, Emma Hayes, Sam Kerr, Millie Bright and Lauren James all shortlisted for prizes.

Kepa is up for Goalkeeper of the Year having forced his way back into the Chelsea side and impressed with a string of superb performances already this season. It was an award his team-mate Edouard Mendy won last year.

Another winner last time out, Kerr, is in contention to retain her FA Women’s Player of the Year crown. Her Chelsea colleague Bright is another of the five nominees in that category after a year in which our women’s side once again dominated the domestic landscape.
