Chelsea Football Club is committing to hold a record four Barclays Women’s Super League matches at Stamford Bridge for the 2023/24 season, as well as all UEFA Women’s Champions League matches.
In a move that reflects the continued growth of the women’s game, fans will be able to enjoy a minimum of seven women’s matches at Stamford Bridge.
The new commitment is part of the club’s long-term commercial plan for Chelsea FC Women, with a goal to continue to grow and build our incredible team. It promises to be another fantastic season for Emma Hayes and her side, who this year won the Barclays Women’s Super League and the Vitality Women’s FA Cup, as well as reaching the Champions League semi-final.
To underpin this commitment, the club has today launched a brand new four-match ticket package for WSL matches at Stamford Bridge. An extensive fan research programme carried out throughout 2023 showed that supporters wanted flexibility over ticket options and that many supporters wanted only to attend matches at either Stamford Bridge or Kingsmeadow, rather than both. For the 2023/24 season there is now a ticket option to suit each stadium, with the season ticket including seven Barclays Women’s Super League matches at Kingsmeadow, and the rest available via the new Stamford Bridge four-match package.
A key objective for the new season is to bring fans on this exciting journey with us and continue to build Stamford Bridge as a home for Chelsea FC Women. For this reason we will be re-introducing differentiated stands at Stamford Bridge, with the East Stand providing family-centred fun, West Stand having live music and entertainment, Matthew Harding Stand acting as a focal point for our fantastic supporters and singing groups and the Shed being the base for away fans and our wider Chelsea club fans.
