After guiding her side to two wins from two in February, Sonia Bompastor has been nominated for the Women's Super League Manager of the Month award.
The Blues' unbeaten run was extended in February to 24 matches across all competitions, with 14 of those coming in the WSL, where we sit seven points clear at the top of the table.
Our first league match of the month saw Bompastor's side travel to Villa Park where we claimed a 1-0 win over Aston Villa, with a late own goal helping us to the three points.
Following back-to-back League Cup and FA Cup games, we then hosted Everton at Kingsmeadow. The Toffees took the lead in the second half before the Blues showed great character as Mayra Ramirez levelled the contest with a composed finish, before a superb Lauren James strike in injury time sealed a comeback victory.
During her debut campaign in England, Bompastor has already won the WSL's Manager of the Month award on three occasions, with her most recent success arriving in January.
Our head coach is nominated for February's award alongside Arsenal's Renee Slegers and Manchester United's Marc Skinner. Voting is now open and will close on Monday 24 February at 11am - you can vote for Sonia here.
Good luck, Sonia!
