This Boxing Day west London derby takes place at Stamford Bridge with a 3pm kick-off time.

London Underground, London Overground and buses

The London Underground network will be running a reduced Sunday service. The buses will be a Sunday service.

There is due to be a reduced service on London Overground between Stratford and Clapham Junction (Mildmay Line) running through West Brompton and Imperial Wharf Stations.

National Rail

As is standard for Boxing Day, there will be no National Rail services on South Western Railway (Waterloo) including through Clapham Junction and Wimbledon Stations. There is also no service on Greater Anglia (Liverpool Street), c2c (Fenchurch Street), Avanti and London Northwestern (Euston), East Midland Railway and Thameslink (St Pancras International), LNER and Great Northern (King’s Cross) or Southeastern rail services into London Bridge, Victoria and Charing Cross.

Southern is scheduled to run four trains per hour through Clapham Junction; one train per hour Victoria to Brighton, one train per hour Victoria to Three Bridges, two trains per hour Victoria to Sutton (stopping at all intermediate stations).

Car parking

In the Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham on Boxing Day, usual parking restrictions and charges apply in Zones CC & G in the north of the borough around Shepherd’s Bush Green.

Parking is free in shared use, resident and pay and display bays in all other parking zones throughout Hammersmith & Fulham. Other parking restrictions (including yellow lines, disabled bays, pedestrian crossing zig-zag markings, bus stops and diplomatic parking bays) also still apply. All traffic schemes operating in the borough continue to be operational during this period.

In the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, there is no enforcement of permit bays and pay-by-phone parking, and no enforcement of single yellow line parking unless a vehicle is causing an obstruction to the flow of traffic.
