Emma Hayes’ side hold a narrow 1-0 lead from last week’s first game in France as we attempt to finish the job and become only the second team to defeat the reigning European holders over two legs in the competition since 2015.
It is all to play for as we aim for a momentous victory, following Guro Reiten’s brilliant goal in Lyon, but the home leg at Stamford Bridge is already set to make history as Blues supporters rush to be a part of the occasion.
There have been more than 13,000 tickets sold for the game, surpassing Chelsea Women’s previous record for a Champions League home match, set at our 3-0 victory over another French side, Paris Saint-Germain, in the group stage earlier this season, a match which was also played at Stamford Bridge.
The number coming to this Thursday’s match with Lyon is likely to increase even further, though, with excitement building for a tie which remains finely poised going into the second leg and tickets still available in the Shed End and the West Stand.
If you want to be part of a record Women’s Champions League crowd at Stamford Bridge, be sure to purchase your ticket and join the 13,000 who have already done so to cheer on the Blues on what promises to be another fantastic European night in SW6.
