Brighton vs Chelsea preview
returns to his former club Brighton for the first time since joining Chelsea at the start of September, taking his Blues side to the Amex Stadium with an undefeated record during that time. Having not lost in his first nine games in all competitions, it is the longest unbeaten start by an English Chelsea manager since William Lewis in 1906.
Potter will be hoping he can bring three points back to Stamford Bridge after drawing our last two Premier League fixtures, 0-0 at Brentford and 1-1 at home against Manchester United. However, he is free to focus heavily on domestic games in the remaining time before the World Cup break, after Chelsea secured our progress to the Champions League knockout stages by beating Salzburg earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Brighton's excellent start to the season has started to slow down over the last month under new manager Roberto De Zerbi, who is still looking for his first win with the club after three defeats and two draws in October.
