For the fourth time in 2022/23, Kepa has been nominated for the Premier League Save of the Month award.
The Spaniard is up for April’s prize because of his superb stop to keep out Brighton’s Evan Ferguson at Stamford Bridge last month. The young Ireland striker looked set to head in a floated cross from six yards out, but Kepa sprung to his left and, from underneath his crossbar, managed to tip the effort over. It was a brilliant reflex save to deny Brighton a certain equaliser.

Kepa is one of six nominees for April’s award, alongside David De Gea (Manchester United), Lukasz Fabianski (West Ham), Daniel Iversen (Leicester City), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal) and Bernd Leno (Fulham).
Kepa won the award, new for this season, back in October, and he was also nominated in January and February.
