Chelsea defender Brooke Aspin has today completed a loan move to newly-promoted Women’s Super League side Crystal Palace.

Aspin, who signed for the Blues last summer from Bristol City and spent the 2023/24 season back on loan with the Robins, will spend the upcoming campaign with the Eagles.

The 19-year-old will spend the season gaining more valuable WSL experience with Laura Kaminski’s side, having impressed during her loan spell with Bristol where she made 20 appearances across all competitions.

A product of the Bristol City Academy, Aspin made her senior debut for her former club at only 16 years old. Her maturity and leadership soon shone through and helped her earn a move to Chelsea, signing for the Blues on her 18th birthday.

On the international stage, Aspin has represented England at Under-17s, Under-18s and Under-19s level.

This summer she helped the Young Lionesses reach the semi-finals of the Under-19s European Championships in Lithuania, where she also captained her national team in a group stage match against the hosts and the last-four clash with Spain.

Everyone at Chelsea would like to wish Brooke well during her time on loan at Crystal Palace, and we look forward to watching her development over the course of the season.
