Development squad striker Mason Burstow has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
The young forward has received this nomination following his fine performances in the month of March.
Burstow scored three goals in three PL2 games in a month in which our development squad went unbeaten. His goals came against Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton.
This is the second time he has been nominated for this monthly award as he was on the list of nominees after his performances January.
The 19-year-old striker sits joint-fifth in the Premier League 2 top scorers list with nine goals this season. Five of those have come this calendar year.
On his player's nomination, Mark Robinson said, 'Mason's form is a by-product of him working hard to be the best he can be every single day. Nothing changes with him, just a relentless focus to improve.'
The nominees for the monthly award were selected by the Premier League's Football Development Panel, after PL2 club coaches nominated the best performance by an opponent in each of their league matches in the month.
