Mason Burstow has completed a season-long loan move to Championship side Sunderland.
The 20-year-old made his Chelsea debut against West Ham United last month and started for the first time in our victory over AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup.
This will be the young striker’s second loan spell away from Stamford Bridge. Burstow spent the remainder of the 2021/22 season with Charlton Athletic after signing for Chelsea from the League One side in January 2022.
Sunderland finished in the Championship play-off positions last season and are currently managed by Tony Mowbray.
Wishing you the best of luck for the season, Mason!
