Covid-19 requirements

It is important that all supporters visiting Kingsmeadow are aware of the following information, or risk not being admitted.

Supporters attending our home matches at Kingsmeadow this season are required to provide evidence that they are at low risk of transmitting Covid-19. This is to increase the safety and comfort of our supporters, players and staff as we host large crowds again.

This can be done through proof of full Covid-19 vaccination (with both doses received at least 14 days prior to the match) or proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test (from age 11 and over) carried out within 48 hours of the fixture kicking off. More information can be found here.

The form

We return to Kingsmeadow for our second home European fixture of the season looking to claim a third win in four Group games.

The only dropped points came in the thrilling 3-3 draw with Wolfsburg, when Pernille Harder’s late goal earned a point. But wins over Juventus and Servette mean we top Group A by two points and a victory or draw against the Swiss would stretch our unbeaten run to 12 matches in all competitions. In our last European fixture we beat the Swiss side 7-0, with two goals apiece from Fran Kirby and Sam Kerr and further strikes from Melanie Leupolz, Jessie Fleming and Guro Reiten.

Servette have yet to score a goal in this season‘s competition, having lost 3-0 to Juventus, 5-0 to Wolfsburg and 7-0 to us. They are second in the Swiss top flight, with six wins from their eight matches – including a 3-0 win over Basel in their last fixture on Sunday.

Chelsea Women v Servette Women head-to-head record

Our emphatic 7-0 win in Geneva was the only time we have previously faced Servette.

Next up for the Blues

We return to domestic action on Sunday, 21 November as we take on Birmingham City Women at Kingsmeadow in search of a seventh successive win in the Women‘s Super League.

The match gets underway at 2pm.
