Chelsea Women can today confirm that midfielder Charlotte Wardlaw will spend the remainder of the 2022/23 season on loan at Lewes.
The 19-year-old signed her first professional contract ahead of the 2021/22 season, which she spent on loan at Liverpool.
During her first season on Merseyside, Wardlaw helped Liverpool win the Women’s Championship and promotion to the Women’s Super League, before returning there to begin the 2022/23 campaign.
This month, Wardlaw returned to Chelsea and was part of the travelling squad for the warm weather training camp in Spain during the winter break.
She will continue her development with Lewes for the remainder of the current campaign, with the East Sussex outfit competing in the Women’s Championship.
Everyone at Chelsea would like to wish Charlotte every success during her time with Lewes.
