Pedro has signed a seven-year contract and will begin training with his new teammates at Cobham in the coming days.

‘I feel really grateful to have joined this club,’ said the 24-year-old. ‘I have worked really hard in my career to be here and I’m looking forward to getting on the pitch with this shirt.'

He started his career in the youth system of Braga. Pedro’s talent began to shine when he made his first-team debut in May 2017 and scored in a 4-0 victory over Nacional. At 17 years, two months and five days, he became the third-youngest scorer in the club’s history.

A two-year loan move to Italian giants Lazio followed during which he won the Coppa Italia. That switch was made permanent ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, and Pedro completed a transfer to Wolves in August 2019.

He scored and created a goal on his debut – a 4–0 win over Pyunik in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League – and quickly established himself as a regular in the Wolves attack.

Pedro went on to make 135 appearances for the club and last season contributed to 11 goals in 20 Premier League appearances.

He also established himself as a regular in the Portugal squad during his time at Molineux and has won ten caps, the last of which came during this summer’s European Championship.
