It has been confirmed that Chelsea will take on Servette in the UEFA Conference League play-off round.
The Swiss side were in action this evening in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League third qualifying round tie against Braga.
Servette went into the game following a 0-0 first-leg draw in Portuga last week but were unable to make home advantage count and were narrowly beaten 2-1 at the Stade de Geneve
They now drop into the Conference League play-off round to face the Blues, with the first leg taking place at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, 22 August, kick-off 8pm. The second leg will be held a week later on Thursday, 29 August, with an 8.30pm start local time (7.30pm UK).
Last season, Servette reached the round of 16 in the Conference League. They also won the Swiss Cup final in June, their first major trophy in 23 years.
Chelsea played Servette in Geneva in May 1946 as part of a six-game post-season tour of Switzerland. We won 2-0. This will be our first competitive fixture in Switzerland since meeting Basel in 2013.
Ticket details for the second leg will follow in due course.
