Conor Gallagher and Cole Palmer have been selected to represent England at the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament in Germany this summer.

England have confirmed the 26 players that have been submitted to UEFA ahead of the tournament, with the organisation's deadline for the finalised squad being midnight on Friday.

Palmer, who joined the Blues from Manchester City last year, is included after a superb maiden season for the club which saw him collect the Premier League Young Player of the Season award and named Chelsea Supporters' Player of the Year.

The 22-year-old marked his third senior England appearance on Monday with a maiden goal in the 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Gallagher also enjoyed an impressive season at club level. The midfielder featured in 50 matches across all competitions and regularly captained the Blues. He also made his 13th senior international cap when featuring for the full 90 minutes at St James' Park.

The Three Lions will play their final warm-up match tomorrow (Friday) night when they take on Iceland at Wembley Stadium.

England, finalists at the previous European Championships, are paired with Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia in Group C of the 24-team tournament.

Gareth Southgate's side begin their campaign against Serbia on Sunday 16 June, where Palmer and Gallagher could face against club teammate Djorde Petrovic. They then face Denmark on Thursday 20 June and Slovenia on Tuesday 25 June.

The top two and the four best third-place finishers progress to the Round of 16, with the ultimate goal of reaching – and winning – the final of Euro 2024 on Sunday 14 July.

Congratulations, Conor and Cole!
