Chelsea FC Women’s first WSL fixture of the season at home to West Ham United will take place at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 11 September.
The reigning champions will kick off the campaign in SW6, as we did in September 2019 with a 1-0 victory over another London rival, Tottenham Hotspur, in front of over 25,000 fans. It was a very special occasion!
Emma Hayes’ side are aiming to win a record fourth consecutive WSL title, and a big backing at the Bridge could be vital in helping the Blues get up and running with three points.
It will also be the first chance to watch our international players since their starring roles at the Euro 2022 tournament, where there has been plenty of Chelsea involvement right through to the final and record breaking attendance throughout!
Emma Hayes is also looking forward to kick-starting the season at Stamford Bridge adding: ‘We’ve all enjoyed getting behind the players this summer and watching their progress in the Euros.
‘What a great opportunity we have to welcome everyone back for this important first match of the season. We’ve missed ours fans and hope to see the Bridge packed out!’
Kick-off at Stamford Bridge is at 12:30 and Chelsea FC Women season ticket holders will be able to claim their free ticket, and will have the option to sit together. They will receive an email on how to claim their ticket online soon.
General sale tickets will cost from just £9 for adults and £1 for juniors and seniors.. All tickets will only be available to purchase online. Click here to buy and secure your place at this historic clash.
