Chelsea Foundation welcomed 100 children from inner-city Philadelphia for a special event organised alongside Hilton.
Taking place at Cristo Rey High School, the Philadelphia Football Festival provided children, aged between 9 and 13 years old, with a fun day of football activity including appearances from Raheem Sterling, Levi Colwill, Andrey Santos and Angelo Gabriel.
The Chelsea FC quartet joined in the sessions and signed t-shirts the children were gifted at the start of the day.
Raheem Sterling said: ‘Events such as this have a huge impact. It is great for Chelsea Foundation to be out in the community and allow the kids to develop another skill set and experience the process that comes with it.
‘Today reminds you to be grateful for the position you are in, and to try to influence the youth as much as possible to make the right decisions on their way to adulthood.’
For the event, Chelsea Foundation and Hilton partnered with The Boys and Girls Club who work with young people across the United States, along with local organisations who provided a live DJ, food and a photo booth for guests to create their own personalised Chelsea FC digital card.
