In partnership with Cosmo International Football Academy, Chelsea Foundation was delighted to deliver our first-ever Soccer School in Oslo, Norway.
Participants were able to attend a unique experience providing expert coaching and an introduction to the philosophy and style of the Chelsea Foundation. This included a combination of coaching sessions, workshops and various circuits in partnership with the coaching organisation Cosmo International Football Academy.
Brent Wood, director of Cosmo International Football Academy is excited to see more courses available moving forward and commented: ‘The first Chelsea Foundation Soccer School at Ellingsrud, Norway was a great success. All players enjoyed a fantastic course delivered by the Chelsea Foundation coaches.

Over 30 players, both male and female, between the ages of 7-15, took part at Ellingsrud Football Club situated on the outskirts of Oslo. Based in the Norwegian capital, players travelled from all across the country to take part in this unique opportunity.
The Soccer School ran from 7-9 October led by Chelsea Foundation coaches and Cosmo International Football Academy.
Michael Cornall, international operations and events manager at the Chelsea Foundation, was extremely pleased with the outcomes of this inaugural event, saying: ‘The Soccer School in partnership with Cosmo International Football Academy was a fantastic and unique experience for the participants.
'This was the first time the Chelsea Foundation has delivered a Soccer School in Norway and it was great to see the enjoyment and positive environment for the players.
‘It was great to see so much enjoyment and fun for players learning new skills by providing a unique Chelsea coaching experience for them all. I am sure they will walk away with a memory that will last a lifetime. As we continue to grow our international presence, the partnership with CIFA was a great success as we look to deliver more soccer schools together in 2023.’
