A group of 20 from the 150-strong Maccabi USA delegation, who were in London for the European Maccabi Youth Games, visited Chelsea for a presentation and stadium tour.

Maccabi USA is a non-profit whose mission is to build Jewish pride, identity and community through sports. They sent a delegation of American Jewish teens to London this summer for the European Maccabi Youth Games, a multi-sport competition that brings together Jewish athletes from 20 countries.

The group were given the opportunity to hear from staff at the Foundation on its, and the Club's, commitment to tackling all forms of discrimination. They were then taken on an all access tour of Stamford Bridge by Stephen Nelken, founder of the Chelsea Jewish Supporters Group, and Chelsea FC tour guide.

Marshall Einhorn, Maccabi USA CEO, said: ‘Chelsea Football Club has been a leader in fighting antisemitism in sports and educating its players, coaches, and fans.

'On our visit to Stamford Bridge, it was inspiring to hear first-hand from Chelsea leadership about their work and the commitment they have made to removing hate from the pitch, the stands, and society as a whole.’

Stephen Nelken said: 'I was delighted to be part of "Team Chelsea" as both the founder of the Chelsea Jewish Supporters Group and a Chelsea tours and museum guide. o welcome members of Maccabi USA, to tell them about the Chelsea Jewish Supporters Group and take them on a guided tour of Stamford Bridge.

'I hope they found the presentations to be enthralling and inspiring and the tour interesting and enjoyable'
