A player from the Chelsea Foundation’s soccer school in Berkshire was surprised with a football signed by his Chelsea heroes over the Easter holidays…

Horatio, who has attended several of the Chelsea Foundation’s holiday soccer schools in the past, took part and won a penalty shoot-out competition on the same football course.

Having enjoyed his experience on the football courses, Horatio was also gifted a Chelsea Foundation kit for him to sport at upcoming courses taking place this summer.

Prior to attending the Chelsea Foundation’s soccer school, Horatio didn’t play much football. However, as time went on, he enjoyed the sport more and more, and continued to attend.

A prize draw took place over the Easter holidays, with a signed football up for grabs and Horatio was the lucky winner.

Marc Plumbley, Chelsea Foundation Berkshire and Buckinghamshire development officer, said: ‘We were delighted to hear that Horatio had won the prize draw as he had attended many courses with us recently and developed well, winning the penalty trophy in his group!’

Courses will be taking place at numerous locations this summer including in London, Kent, Essex, Berkshire and Hampshire! For more information, click here.
