There is a first start of the season for Trevoh Chalobah as Chelsea host Leicester City in the Premier League this afternoon.

The defender is the one change from last weekend’s defeat at Leeds United, replacing the suspended Kalidou Kouliably at the back. The young defender is expected to play in the back three alongside Reece James and Thiago Silva, with Edouard Mendy retained in goal.

Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Raheem Sterling continue in attack, while Thomas Tuchel has paired Conor Gallagher with Jorginho in midfield once again and opted for Marc Cucurella and Ruben Loftus-Cheek as his wing-backs.

Koulibaly misses out following his red card at Elland Road, while Tuchel himself serves a one-game touchline ban following the altercation between him and Antonio Conte following our last home match against Tottenham.

Returning to the bench are Mateo Kovacic and Armando Broja following recent injury absences.

The Foxes make three changes from their recent home defeat to Southampton, with Youri Tielemans, Dennis Praet and Boubakary Soumare all coming in.
