Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell had already been back on the grass this week as they stepped up their preparations early having missed long parts of the 2021/22 campaign through injury.

This morning that pair were joined by those players who were not on international duty last month: Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Trevoh Chalobah, Hakim Ziyech, Malang Sarr, Kepa, Marcus Bettinelli, Kenedy and Ross Barkley.

There was also involvement for some players who were out on loan last season, the likes of Dujon Sterling and Tino Anjorin, and as you can see from the photos below, everyone was in great spirits as the focus turns to a new season.
